Help! I accidently making insensitive remarks on my boyfriend;s son?

The reseason you haven't meet his son yet is because as a parent he is trying to make sure that his relationship with you is going to be a good and stable before you get around his son. See childern get attached to adults easily and your bf knows this ..Because childern get attached easily they can get hurt easily .... He is just being a good dad ...It sound like he is a pretty good man.Not many man will take there child full time ..The mother of this boy has the right to see him whenever is agreed upon by your bf and her...The real questions are...can you handle the fact that the boy's mom is always going to be in her sons life and you have no right or say so in that???? Can you wait until your bf feels that your relationship is soild enough to meet his son???If you can wait until your bf is ready to introduce you and know and except that is ex is always going to be in her son's life... remember that boy is part of your bf so if your saying something insensetive about the boy you are being insensetive to your bf.. blood is thicker than water..It takes a real strong women to deal with a baby mama...I've been dealing with one for 17 yrs...Please really think about if you can handle this ..
