How to disinfect a cream..............?

I would ume that most of the bacteria would be on the surface of the cream since I doubt anyone was mixing their fingers around in it right? You could try UV light to kill whatever might be living on the surface, or attempt to remove the first layer of cream. If the cream was mixed or something.. I would get rid of it. It's not worth risking a nasty infection on your face.
