Should I still contact my male friend after he kinda stood me up on Saturday?

I met this guy and we went out last week for dinner. Its purely platonic. I have NO interest in a relationship with this guy. I think he might be interested in me..So after dining last week we agreed on going out again(as friends). I had chatted on the MSN with him on Saturday afternoon and told him to call me at 7pm to make plans for going out that night..The hours ped and he never called me to go out. Its been like 3 days and he hasnt called me. I think he is maybe waiting for me to log on MSN to talk to him and ask him about why he didnt call me, basically wanting me to get in touch with him instead of the other way around.. This Saturday we are/were supposed to go watch a World Cup Qualifier soccer match at the stadium. I really wanna go to the game but am already annoyed of what he has done...should I just leave things the way they are and just forget about the whole thing and find another date for the game or "force" myself to contact him to make plans??
