Husband going away and I have a 6 month old who LOVES his daddy to pieces.?

My husband is going away for work in South Dakota and we live in PA. He will be gone for 2-4 months as a conductor and he is afraid our 6 month old will forget who he is. Our 6 month old loves him to pieces and always wants his daddy when he comes home. We are getting web cams so he can talk to the baby and me but we arent sure this is going to be enough. How do we handle this?
